Forbidden Pages, Blues
This limited-edition letterpress linoleum print, part of the Forbidden Pages Collection, is crafted on high-quality 100 lbs. paper. Drawing inspiration from Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye, one of the most consistently banned books in the United States. It is banned in 12 Florida counties as of October 2023.
The vibrant and colorful abstract designs serve as visual clues rooted in the International Standard Book Numbers (ISBN) and their corresponding barcodes. The book has been printed in 7 languages, with more than 64 editions.
